To all Man With A Van staff: On Tuesday 21st Feb, one of our workers was injured when a balcony rail collapsed whilst performing a balcony lift with a team mate.

They fell from the balcony, with the mattress base partially cushioning their fall.

Following this, they were taken to hospital for assessment. They were discharged that day with minor injuries.

Worksafe is currently investigating this incident. Man With A Van will conduct a full investigation as well, with the outcomes to be published and the relevant policies updated on the MWAV wiki.

From this point onwards, Man With A Van is banning any furniture from being lifted up to, or lowered down from, any balcony until the incident has been fully investigated.
